ScienceING Time After School Program operates Monday through Friday, end of school until 5:00 p.m. Parents/Caregivers must be listed as an authorized pick-up person for a child to be released from the program. In the event of last-minute changes, only text messages from the parent or guardian naming the pick-up person are allowed.
We understand that the safety and comfort of your child are of utmost importance. To ensure a smooth and reassuring transition into our after school program, we kindly ask that you and your child meet and visit us, in person or virtually, before their first pick up. This visit will help familiarize them with our environment and reinforce the importance of never getting into a vehicle with someone they do not know.
Children will be picked up in our van equipped with five-point harness car seats and high back boosters when appropriate.
If your child will not be picked up on a specific day, notification via text, the morning of the day or before, is required. No notification will result in a $25 fee per day.
Summer programs/camp will be available to students who participated in ScienceING Time After School program. Weekly rate is $500 that includes field trips on corresponding weeks.
Vaccination records, enrollment packet and required licensing forms (included in packet) are to be turned in before start of participation in ScienceING Time After School Program.
Children may get dirty due to crafts or simply playing. Please provide a change of clothes for accidents or such occasions. We are 100% outside and we get messy.
For weeks schools are closed, and we are open, there is an option of reserving a spot, $500/week, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. which may coincide with a week that has a scheduled field trip and hiking. Morning and afternoon snack will be provided. Snacks consists of fruits, veggies, and protein. Lunch will be brought from home.
Monthly fee will be paid via a secure link on your invoice emailed a week before the next month. Payment is required for your child to participate in ScienceING Time After School Program. Late fees are paid before the beginning of the following week.
2024/2025 Pricing
OPTION #1: Monthly Rate
- $500 per month for Pick Up and Aftercare
- Price will be prorated accordingly for closed days and holidays
- Student absences will not be prorated or credited
- Participation is for five days a week. Your monthly fee includes minimum days.
- Payment for the full month is due the last week of the previous month
OPTION #2: Specific Days
- $25 per day for Pick Up and Aftercare
- $45 per day for Minimum Days
- All requested days for after school pick up must be requested two weeks prior
- Payment for the full month is due the last week of the previous month
Full Day Drop In
- $75 per day
- Snacks provided. Lunch provided from home
Late Pick Up:
- First 5 minutes from 5:01 p.m. to 5:05 p.m.: $1 per minute
- Beginning at 5:06 p.m.: $5 per minute
- After third time being late within 30 days: $5 per minute starting at 5:01 p.m.
No notification for non-pick up
- $25 per no show
Registration Details
At this time, this school year, our program is only able to accommodate McKinley Elementary and Golden Hills Elementary students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten. We hope to expand to more schools next academic year.
For cancellations or changes in plans, please notify us 10 business days before the end of the month.
A visit/meet and completed paperwork need to be received before pick up services may begin.
All fees are due in advance of the month of service. Fees are paid via the secure link on the invoice emailed within two business days after receipt. If balances are not paid on time, your child may not participate in the program.
